Have you ever been to Cafe du Monde?

I have never been to NO and am very excited. I actually found Cafe Beignet%26#39;s website and noticed that it is VERY close to our hotel and will probably go there. I may visit Cafe du Monde while down near the riverwalk. It seems far to walk for breakfast!!!

Cafe Beignet has some menu items besides beignets. Cafe DuMonde does not but I still prefer it as it%26#39;s the ';original.';

If you are in New Orleans, Cafe du Monde is an absolute must. Worth the walk!!!

There is only ONE place to get beignets and coffee - Cafe du Monde!

If I ever return to RI, I%26#39;ll ask you where to get Stuffies and Beer. You are a local so I figure you know where to go. Trust the locals and go to Cafe du Monde.

There are two kinds of Beignets, Cafe du Monde Beignets and imitation Cafe du Monde Beignets. Cafe du Monde has been serving Beignets since 1862. If you want the real deal, go to Cafe du Monde and order Beignets and Cafe Ole. Check out www.cafedumonde.com.

Personally, I consider Cafe du Monde to be the heart of New Orleans as it sits right across from Jackson Square. It is truly one of my favorite places in the world to sit in the morning with a steaming hot plate of beignets and a cup of chicory coffee while listening to a lone saxophone player playing a slow rendition of Louis Armstrong%26#39;s What a Wonderful World as horse drawn carriages clip-clop by. It is at this moment that all worries have escaped my existence and I really think to myself...what a wonderful world...

You have made the right choice. By the way here%26#39;s something to remember, its rumored that if you bring Cafe du Monde beignets to St. Peter that your entrance to through the Pearly Gates is guaranteed!
