Lunch/Dinner near the Intercontinental?

Hi,

I%26#39;ll be in New Orleans for a meeting in August. Since there will be no %26#39;organized%26#39; food, I%26#39;m looking for places to eat close to the Intercontinental (444 St. Charles?).

Aside from restaurants, is there a nice grocery store nearby? Something like C*ntral Market, Whole Fo*ds or similar?

Herbsaint is a great recommendation - one of my absolute favorites. If you go, get the house-made spaghetti, it%26#39;s to die for!!!

I am unsure about a grocery store nearby - I think the One Shell Square building has a grocery store inside of it, but not like a Whole Foods. hmmm......

A very short cab ride away from you, too, are Cochon, Irene%26#39;s, Tommy%26#39;s, Emeril%26#39;s, and Wolfe%26#39;s in the Warehouse. I like Wolfe%26#39;s and Irene%26#39;s the most. I think Emeril%26#39;s is overpriced and overrated, but I like NOLA (in the FQ).
