Would love to hear some views on the Harrah%26#39;s Casino in NOLA.
Anybody win?
Harrah's ?
I haven%26#39;t seen or heard any big winners. I%26#39;ve broken even or come ahead $75 or down $75..at least enough play to get offered free buffets and a room for $29. Several cabbies have said they have never had a %26#39;winner%26#39; in their cabs only ones that lose.
Harrah's ?
Last time I went, the table game minimums were $10 during the day. No, I didn%26#39;t win either. It is a nice casino. I like it.
It is a beautiful casino, and I have won there - $500. The neat thing is tbat I am not a gambler, I don%26#39;t even like gambling, but several years ago during Mardi Gras, my husband and I walked to Harrah%26#39;s just to be able to use some clean bathrooms. We each decided to gamble $10 in slot machines. On my second quarter, I won $500. It was pretty exciting to someone who doesn%26#39;t even like to gamble...but I still stuck to my original $10 plan and left there with an extra wad of cash!
Harrah%26#39;s is a nice small casino and usually not very busy during the day. I%26#39;ve had some winning days and some losing days. I usually play blackjack and my gf plays the video poker machines. She, too, has had both winning and losing days. The staff seems more friendly than most of the LV casinos and Foxwoods.
It is re-done and very nice. My step Dad - Earl Turner will be headlining there almost all of August - check him out!
I saw Earl Turner when he opened..great show...and Harrahs has an impressive array of improv. comedy entertainers too. It is a nice casino and easy to get turned around in there as you try to find the right exit to head out....for cabs always go out the convention center blvd. area.
