Which is the least expensive way to get from the airport to the FQ roundtrip? The prices I%26#39;ve seen for the shuttle is $26 per person. Is this the way to go? We%26#39;ll be going to the Dauphine Oreans Hotel.
Much thanks!

Shuttle or Taxi from airport?
I would just take a cab right from the airport. They are waiting and ready to go right outside the baggage claim exits. Its flat rate of $29 and is fast direct door-2-door service (I am not sure if they charge a small fee per person after that or not). I think the shuttle is less than $26 but I still wouldnt waist your time.

The shuttle is 13 each way, or 26 per person round trip. Crowdedinto a ten-person van, you ride while they drop each peson off at various hotels.
Cab is a flat 29 each way,but with twopeople comes out even, plus comfort and about 25minutes, vs up to an hour ifyou are the last person in the van! Shu8ttles used to leave about every 15minutes, but post-K and off hours you may wait over an hour at the airport, and then be late picked up on your return trip. They are just short of drivers and their vehicles are aging. Heck, as just one poerson now I take a cab, forcomfort andtime saved. If I can afford the vacation, hotel, food, drinks, I can afford the extra for acab.
Thanks for the replies. A cab it is! :)

P.S. Once in town, or even at the airport, look for the United Cabs. A reputable company with trained drivers and decent vehicles. Allothers are independents, personally owned, variable conditions, and meters that may sometimes, er, not quite work.
But don%26#39;t be surpised in any, with the meter prices there is an additioal one dollar ';gas surcharge.'; Reasonable with today%26#39;s prices.
I wish the United drivers would move to my town.
