thunderstorms this weekend

Ahhhhhh... I just checked the weather for this weekend at accuweather.com and it just happens Saturday, the day I arrive would be the hottest of the day. ';Real Feel'; temp is 107! Plus, it seems NOLA would be filled with thunderstorm all through out the week. :(

For the locals out there, how are the storms have been? Was it on and off scattered rains like here? It would be pouring heavy for 20 mins and then just roars of thunder for another 10 min. Then it would be just cloudy for a couple of hours before returning to the downpour. If the weather over there is like here, I guess I could stand it much better than constant non stop rain... Oh well, either way, I guess I have to make sure I didn%26#39;t forget my umbrella! ;-)

The forecast is very typical for summertime here. ';Scattered storms'; might mean that while you%26#39;re under blue or partly cloudy skies, it might be pitching a fit 3 or 4 miles away. The storms typically blow up as the day progresses and things heat up.

Even though some parts of the metro area have seen rain these past few days, my little street hasn%26#39;t seen a drop! It could%26#39;ve just as easily been the reverse situation.

Don%26#39;t let it spoil your fun! Just bring your umbrella, or better yet, dash between one point to the next.

Ahhhh... It sounds good enough! I%26#39;m not worried much about getting wet. I guess I%26#39;m more worried about flight delays or cancellations. I didn%26#39;t think the storms here in NY is too bad yet they have been canceling flights for few days now. The same flight I%26#39;m supposed to take tomorrow is canceled for today. My flight still looks good but I can%26#39;t be sure about it until tomorrow morning. I guess I have to keep my fingers crossed. Thank you for the head up! :)
