Muriels menu and napoleon House question

Just looked at Muriels menu as we fancies eating there. Can anyone advise what the courtyard is , they seemed to have starters and speciality drinks listed there . Also how much is the set menu and do you have to book.

On a different subject is Napoleon house still only open reduced hours and can you have a pims cup in the courtyard or only in the bar, wanted to go and sample one of these

Muriels menu and napoleon House question

We ate there on Friday night without a reservation (it was about 8.00). My husband had the set menu and all you pay for is the price of the entree it varies from about $26 - 28.That is very good for a 3 course meal. We found the food and the service excellent. I didn,t have the set menu. Would not hesitate to eat there agai. I didn%26#39;t see the couryard sorry.

Muriels menu and napoleon House question

The courtyard is pretty small and it depends on what night you go as to the crowds but we%26#39;ve never had a problem. The price fix menu is as the previous poster indicated. I particularly like the grilled Redfish, seafood gumbo, and their bread pudding. They also have some great oyster creations.

I%26#39;ve had the Pimms cup in the courtyard at the Napoleon House. And Muriel%26#39;s has a pretty good Pimm%26#39;s cup too.

Wow, your choices at Muriels would be mine too, this will be a must. Thanks for the info

I second the bread pudding- I had a taste of my husbands, it is excellent

Both excellent choices, I am so impressed!!! Yes, you can definitely drink and eat in the courtyard at the Napoleon House, but their hours have definitely been reduced as you noted. And I think you could squeeze into Muriels without a reservation. As for the set menu, I think the price depends on your entree - their website doesn%26#39;t say how much it us? Have a great time!

From the info on the website (see the tiny print at the top of the home page), it appears as though Napoleon House has extended its hours since I was last there in February. Happy news!

It%26#39;s not back to its pre-Katrina hours, but Tuesday-Saturday it%26#39;s open till 10:00 or 11:00 p.m., depending on the night.
