I need to get from the Dauphine hotel to Gretna. Does anyone know how much the taxi might be and or can I take the bus?

A bus would be very difficult unless the Jefferson Transit has a stop downtown in New Orleans. You can Google ';Jefferson Transit'; online and check it out.

I%26#39;d guess a cab will be $10-20, depending on where exactly you wish to go. Since Gretna is across the river, there are no ';zoned'; or ';flat'; fares.
