We will be in NO on the evening of Sunday, 7/22. We%26#39;re not really huge Jazz fans, but we do like lots of different music (70%26#39;s, 80%26#39;s, even some 90%26#39;s). We%26#39;ll have our 17 year old with us, and would like to take him with us to a club to listen to some music. Can anyone suggest a venue that is more ';appropriate'; for someone of this age, that%26#39;s open on a Sunday evening? Not anything too ';wild'; . . . if you get my meaning. Just a place for us to spend some time together that is not so ';lame'; as far as he%26#39;s concerned. (Not his phraseology, but mine!) He%26#39;s quite mature for his age, but not to the point that I would feel comfortable allowing him to roam about freely. I hope this makes sense. Can anyone help? Thanks!
Where can I take my teen?
No clubs will allow a 17 year old in to listen to music. You could see if House of Blues has a concert that is open to 17 year old teens. Try looking on www.nola.com for events in the city when you will be visiting.

The recommendations made are good ones and I didn%26#39;t think of those. Good luck.
