Open on Mondays

Our first full day in the French Quarter will be this Monday. I know that some places to eat close on Monday. What casual places (like Coop%26#39;s, etc.) would be open on Monday?

I think that%26#39;s right - some uptown restaurants close on Sundays and Mondays, but the FQ places should generally be open on Mondays. Offhand I am uncertain, so if there is a place that you definitely wnat to go, you may want to give them a quick call.

Now I certainly don%26#39;t live there but from my constant searches for my trip this week, it seems like restaurants close quite a bit on sunday (I know Mr. B%26#39;s and K Pauls are not open on sunday) and attractions tend to close on Mondays.

Just a heads up from what Ive seen.

It%26#39;s mainly the state museums, etc., that close on Monday. I%26#39;m surprised at a large restaurant closing on Sunday, when weekend tourism is about double weekdays. But there are so many places, one can always find something to do.

coops is definately open on a Monday, we ate there and had a few drinks on a Monday. Go to Donnas for good music $10 cover but great entertainment and reasonable price drinks
