I am looking to book for October and notice they havedeluxe and courtyard rooms. the courtyard are more than we really want tospend and I wondered if any one had stayed there and if any of the deluxe rooms had balconys and if so which rooms. We were booked here two years ago and for obvious reasons were unable to stay so would love to re book there.
Place d'Armes balcony Rooms? Some of the Deluxe rooms do have balconies but not all, they either face St. Anne Street or Chartres, if I remember there are only a few though. If you pre pay you get a cheaper rate and it really is worth paying the extra for a courtyard balcony room. If you do get a deluxe I would ring up and book and request a balcony room, it is not guarenteed, but if they can they will. I asked for a specific balcony room and was lucky and got it. Sorry I dont know the room numbers.
Place d'Armes balcony Rooms? Thanks for replying. I have called and booked a deluxe room with a requested balcony. As it is for October and there were no special rates as yet we decided to go for the cheaper option, however if the courtyard rooms come down in price we will consider changing. I am really hopeing we can get a balcony and will call the day before, to confirm
October is a heavy convention month as well as other activities and I would not expect the rates to go down. The balcony rooms go for more as the two suites above the registration area facing St. Ann or there might be three rooms...like 227,228,229 or something like that but the rooms are so nice and hotel so french quarter you will really like it. They have a nice european style cafe you can have your coffee and crossaints (complimentary) as you people watch onto St. Ann and you%26#39;ll will see what an excellent location it is. I was trying for there this weekend but ended up selecting the Prince Conti. Its always best to call as they receive from talking to reservations somewhere between 800-1000 emails per day so its important if you do email put something significant as to reservations in the subject line.
Thanks for the info. i am so glad I called personally and requested the room last night as the prices have just gone up today. I did get a code from the New Orleans official visitor site which also gave a 10% discount, so cant wait. Roll on October
It is a nice litlte hotel, you never know if they have any balcony rooms free when you get there you may get an upgrade. Dont rely on this though. The staff were really helpful when we stayed there. Do not expect luxury or you will be disappointed. It is a lovely hotel with beautifull courtyards and in a great position. I will definatley stay there again. Have a great time
Im just looking for a nice hotel, nothing fancy and somethin with a New Orleans feel, Clean and good location are our priority so this sounds perfect for us
Great info. Myself and a friend are going for a girls weekend (Mon-Thurs) getaway. I%26#39;ve been to NOLA twice before and am looking forward to getting back. Booked my room over the phone directly with the hotel on Sunday for and still weren%26#39;t guaranteed a balcony but decided to take the gardenview instead. Any new info on the city would be great.
