Weather in late Sept/early Oct

What can we expect weather-wise in late Sept and early Oct? Will the days be warm enough to wear shorts? Will the nights be cool enough to require a jacket/sweater?

It will still be hot in NOLa at that time of the year. It will still be warm in the evenings. High humidity is always a given. September is the month with the highest probability of a hurricane.

Coming from San Diego, you should not find the temps. very different from there, but it will not cool down as much in the evenings and it will feel a little warmer with higher humidity. Who knows, it could be the nicest weather of the year, so pack shorts and a light sweater just to be prepared!

Even late September is likely to be in the mid to upper 80s with relatively high humidity. Evenings will be slightly cooler, but not terribly so.

We generally don%26#39;t start getting into the 70s until late October.

Where coming in late Sept from Wyoming . Is there alot of rain that time of year there?

Not usually alot of rain until November, but we%26#39;ve had more rain in July than I can ever remember, so who knows?
