Which Hotel? Please Help

Ok so me and a large gropu of friends are going to be in New Orleans next year for all star weekend and I%26#39;m tring to book our rooms now. Well I have rooms booked at two hotels Chateau Lemoyne and the Royal st. Charles I%26#39;ve read reviews on them both and ther both are good. If any one can help me please let me know which one is better as far as location to shops and food and things of that sort. Any little thing that you can think of that is better at one please let me know. Thanks

Which Hotel? Please Help

Sorry but I%26#39;d personally avoid both places. The Royal St. Charles is in bad need of renovation and I won%26#39;t go into my feelings on the HI-Chateau Lemoyne. There are so many really GOOD hotels in the FQ other than these two places.

Which Hotel? Please Help

Ok can let me know of some others that are not $400.00 or more a night like most them are.

Did you try the usual expedia, travelocity, orbitz, tripadvisor, hotels.com sites? What dates are you looking at? and number of rooms? Did you try Monteleone,St.Marie, Place D%26#39;armes, Prince Conti,Le Richelieu, Provincial, Bienville House,Bourbon Orleans?

check out the royal sonesta. They have rooms that are pretty inexpensive for the location (right on bourbon street) if you prepay 21-30 days in advance

As long as you are not having a wedding there, the Holiday Inn Chateau Lemoyne, I think, is a great value for the money. $46/night on hotwire.com for a 3 star FQ property. You can%26#39;t beat that kind of value.

Remember %26#39;cheap%26#39; is not necessarily a value especially with the aforementioned HI Chateau Lemoyne.

did you look into book it .com Best for new orleans .Look into the 3.5 STAR French Quarter Mystery Hotel if you don%26#39;t like it you can cancell

en-en,

Remember, the vast majority of reviews for HI Chateau Lemoyne are very complimentary. I can put up with a lot of poor service for $46/night. Cajunyank, evidently you thought enough of the hotel to book it for a wedding in the first place.

Sometimes the mystery hotel on the site ends up being the Astor Crown Plaza which has had very good reviews but if it is the St. Louis I%26#39;d avoid it as they have concentrated on wedding receptions to the detriment of renovating their rooms.
