IMO the Royal Sonesta, W, Omni and Monteleone are the best in the Quarter.

I stayed at the royal sonesta and had a blast. Right on bourbon street so you%26#39;re right where all the action is, and there are balconies, which is especially fun if there%26#39;s a parade.

I definitely would look into the monteleone also. I%26#39;ve said this a hundred times, but I would love to stay there but I%26#39;m afraid of ghosts! The mailman in the building I work at has stayed there about 15 times with his wife and he absolutely loves it. He told me to get a job there when I move so I can get him and his wife a discount!

Congratulations on your wedding anniversary as well!

There are many fine hotels depending upon on your tastes run..I prefer the Place D%26#39;armes, St. Marie, Prince Conti, Le Richelieu, Provincial, Monteleone, Holiday Inn Superdome, and Bienville House. Maybe try Bayona for a nice romantic dinner.

I will cast my usual vote for the Monteleone, my favorite. The Ritz is pretty nice too, although more on the outskirts of the FQ. I have not seen any ghosts at the Monteleone, but I%26#39;m not saying there aren%26#39;t any! :)

I think a ghost touched me once when I was twelve and it freaked me out so much I can%26#39;t go anywhere that is remotely haunted...I can%26#39;t even watch the travel channel when the haunted hotels are on!

Hi jjessy,

I would reccomend the Soniat House if you are looking for something a little smaller, quieter, and romantic. The website is:

I agree that Bayonna would make wondeful choice for an anniversary dinner.
