New Orleans ... Doctor Help

Hi I don%26#39;t know if anyone can assist but we might be arriving from Australia on Saturday or Sunday and will need to see a Doctor to sign some forms for us for an experienc we are doing in Orlando the following week.

A: How hard is it to find one at short notice;

B: How much is a ballpark figure just for someone to sign documentation.

I%26#39;m not sure what kind of documentation you require, but I would try some sort of an outpatient clinic that handles minor injuries and illnesses for people who don%26#39;t have a regular physician, but who don%26#39;t need an emergency room. In our area they are called StatCare, but they may have a different name in NOLA. You could look in the phone book or ask your hotel%26#39;s concierge.

I just realized that I didn%26#39;t exactly answer either of your questions.

A. Many StatCare facilities are open 24 hours or at least ';business hours'; and will accept walk-ins.

B. I%26#39;m guessing you%26#39;re looking at $100 or more per person if it involves a physical exam, more with lab work, but I could be way off never having had to do that.

Thank you for your help. There is no requirement for a physical. We are doing a Zero Gravity Experience and we cannot use our doctors in Australia for the prescription required.

Hopefully we will get it done in time.
