What is the name of this hotel???

I am planning a surprise trip for my fun-loving boyfriend. I used to go to NO twice a year for about 10 yrs to visit family and am drawing a blank on the name of this hotel. It had balconies overlooking Bourbon street and was across from the club where girls were dancing in the windows. Is that still there, and what%26#39;s the name of the hotel? I think it was near the royal sonesta (or i might be thinking of that hotel). Thanks in advance for the help!!!

I think that the hotel you are thinking of is the Royal Sonesta. My husband and I stayed there in April of 2006 and our room looked right down into the window of Rick%26#39;s Cabaret and we could see the outline/shadows of the dancers. It is a beautiful hotel.

Might also be the Inn on Bourbon which is close to the Royal Sonesta, has balconies and is across from Big Daddy%26#39;s. Did the club have a pair of swinging legs coming in and out of it? Of the two I would go with the Royal Sonesta but they are both nice and right in the middle of everything.
