I am planning my best friends bachelor party for the weekend of august 9-12. We have reservations alreaydy set up at Loft 523 which I heard was great.
I know if the types of things that we want to do but wanted to get recomendations from the forum for the following. Keep in mind this is a partying crowd and is willing to spend the $$ on a good time!
- Gambling - Riverboat or Casino? Which One??
- Swamp Tour - Is this worth it, especially in the heat?
- Fishing?? Is this is a good idea?
- Jazz Bar - Any ideas which are the best
- Restaurants - Any reccomendation for great food, casual scene lots o alcohol flowing?
- Dance Clubs - Are there any?? Places where we can get bottle service?
- Night time entertainment - Which stripclubs are best??
Anything that any of you could provide would be incredibly helpful!!!
Thanks
Bachelor Party in August - What should we do???Honestly... if you guys just make your way down to the Quarter... you%26#39;ll find ways to enjoy ALL of the above you mentioned... harrah%26#39;s casino, jazz bars, ANY restaurants, ANY clubs, and there are TONS of strip clubs littered all over Boubon street. trust me, it%26#39;s almost best not to plan anything there, just make your way to the city and explore. just don%26#39;t forget to see the river. you guys might be too hungover to fish.
Bachelor Party in August - What should we do???WOW! that%26#39;s weird!!! IM DOING THE SAME for a friewnd of mine!!that same weekend!!!!
where r u guys coming from??
I was looking for clubs w bottle service and stuff, we%26#39;rre staying at the W which has a club and a martini lounge.... but let me know what u find out!
Pat O%26#39;Brien%26#39;s is a famous club just off Bourbon St. in the French Quarter, lively, inventor of the Hurricane. Many collge fraternity parties end up there. Eat dinner at Galatoire%26#39;s on Bourbon St.. Check out who is performing at The House of Blues.
Not being a patron but hearing of the %26#39;better%26#39; strip clubs..would be Rick%26#39;s, Larry Flynt%26#39;s Hustler, Temptations, and the one that took over the Gold Club on Iberville. Stay away from the hustle joints. Harrahs is the closest for gambling. Jazz Bars abound depending upon what type of jazz you like..go along Bourbon St. or Frenchmen St. I%26#39;d skip the fishing idea. Swamp tours are fine but try a local one so you don%26#39;t use up too much time like CajunPride.
Food and drinks abound.
