Best Wedding location

I%26#39;m looking into having my wedding in NO next Summer (July 2008)

I have 4 locations in mind but it%26#39;s kind of hard to chose being out of state %26amp; not being able to visit these places before booking. So I wanted to know if anyone could give me some advice. We have about 25 guests flying in from all over NJ, CA, NY, VA. Our budget is 7k

Maison Perrier , were defiantly going to stay here for our stay but I%26#39;m not sure about actually holding the wedding there.

Then there Southern Oaks Plantation which I love, and one thing I do like is that darn near everything is included for $7,150.

www.SouthernOaksPlantation.com

Then we have Rosy%26#39;s Jazz Hall

For the wedding %26amp; reception it%26#39;s about $3,800 but no liens, tables, chairs, flowers, or DJ are provided so that%26#39;s extra cost on top of that $3,800 www.rosysjazzhall.com

And last there%26#39;s the Louisiana Castle www.LouisianaCastle.com I%26#39;m still getting a quote worked up but it seems to be somewhat in our budget

I just want to know if anyone had any personal experience with any of these places. I want to book the location by Oct

Southern Oaks is going to be the easiest, it%26#39;s a complete package. They%26#39;ll treat you and your guests wonderfully. Foods good and plentiful. facility is beautiful.

Rosy%26#39;s unique, somewhat quirky place. I went to a wedding there last year. The Bride is from New Olreans and groom is a music teacher. It suited them perfectly .It was lot of fun. But as you know, there%26#39;s a lot outside details than maybe hard on an out of town bride.

Louisiana Castle is on the northshore about 2 hrs from New Orleans, not good for having people come from around the country, it%26#39;s kind of off the beaten path. There are quite a few hotels on the northshore in the the Mandeville area but it%26#39;s not New Orleans. The food was so so, but the service was great.

I think you can%26#39;t go wrong with Southern Oaks or Rosy%26#39;s.

Good Luck, whatever you choose will be great.

Best Wedding location

NOLA is a great place to get married! I was married in the quarter in 2003. The Southern Oaks Place looks great! We got married at the french quarter wedding chapel, if you want to do the wedding at the hotel or some outdoor location they are set up to do that to. All the prices are on their website. There is nothing quite like getting married there, it was the best trip of my life and everyone who went loved the city.

The riverboat dinner cruises (like the Creole Queen) are very nice for taking your parents out to dinner before or after the wedding day.

Have fun!

The only one I have been to is Southern Oaks, and it was wonderful.
