any thoughts on this place? good beer, good food? we%26#39;ll be in NO over Labor Day.
crescent city brewhouseCheck out the guidebooks as usually they have a two for one at crescent city brewhouse. They have good baby backed ribs but the beer is a little high priced for my tastes. The food is good but so many other places in the area are %26#39;better%26#39;. I like the red stallion beer but at 7.95 for the large glass is a bit much.
crescent city brewhouseThe beer is just average, in my opinion.
If you%26#39;re looking for good, local beer, find a tap with any type of Abita on it. There are many spots in the FQ. You%26#39;ll be much happier than with anything you%26#39;ll find at Crescent City, which is too bad. It%26#39;s a nice building, with a good balcony, food is OK.
I agree. I%26#39;ve been here a few times - before I knew better - and did not enjoy it at all. There are much better places to eat in the FQ.
Have been to the Brewhouse a few times and always had excellent meals. The Tuna Orleans is great, as is the crabmeat stuffed shrimp. The meals aren%26#39;t expensive at all and the 2-for-1 coupon makes the load even lighter. Last week we each had a meal (the ones I mentioned) and a couple of drinks. Total bill was about $50 with the tip and after the coupon. A word to the wise - when you use a coupon, they add in the tip based on both meals, so you don%26#39;t have to leave another gratuity. Check your bill before you pay it to make sure the tip is included. I have a bad habit of not doing that.
Beer is good - nothing out of this world. If you happen by, stop in, but I wouldn%26#39;t go out of my way to check this place out with all the other/better options around
