2 couples arriving Dec 12 for 1 week. Excellent rates found at most places. Do we book 2 rooms at Hotel Moneloupe, or book a 2 bedroom suite at Staybridge ( much cheaper, plus free breakfast and kitchen in suite as well)

How is location at each of these properties? Hotel on Royal St, Staybridge on Poydras

OK, I jokingly HAVE to ask about the hotel Moneloupe?!?! Sounds like the Monteleone mated with a canteloupe.

If you indeed talking about the Monteleone, I%26#39;d get two rooms there. Staybridge is not really as conveniently located and won%26#39;t give you any of the New Orleans ';feel'; that an older classic hotel will provide.

Heck, I%26#39;ll give you a pass on this one since you have to spell ';Wetaskiwin'; over and over. :-) My in-laws are from Canada and you have many great native American place names up there, much like we do in Louisiana. Our most famous in New Orleans is ';Tchoupitoulas,'; which is the street which runs alongside the Mississippi River.
