Hilton Riverside

Does anyone know if this hotel is ok? We can stay there through Harrah%26#39;s for $59 per night as compared to Harrah%26#39;s Hotel at $199. I would prefer to spend my money on something than the room if the Hilton is ok.

I have never stayed at the Harrah%26#39;s but have stayed at the Hilton a couple times. I thought it was perfectly fine. The only reason I haven%26#39;t stayed been back there is because I prefer to be in the Quarter but I would stay there again.

The rooms in the tower are ok, but the rooms by the water are disgusting. Like old motel rooms. The harrahs hotel is one of the nicest I%26#39;ve stayed at. Truly beautiful and clean.

I%26#39;ve been at the Hilton a number of time and the riverside rooms do need renovation and try not to get a room that is close to the railroad tracks. Other times I%26#39;ve had rooms that are perfectly fine and located well however I like the feel of a FQ quaint hotel that doesn%26#39;t involve walking what seems like a mile to get out of the parking garage to the registration and rooms. So I don%26#39;t know if that helps you at all.

I too would like to find out how to book the Hilton Riverside at that rate!!! I took my fiance%26#39; down there for Halloween the year before K hit, and we loved it. Had a great view of the river, could have watched the barges go by all day. Did you get that rate because Harrah%26#39;s overbooked, or possibly they%26#39;re comping some of your rate??? I think we paid around $179+ way-back-when.

I think the OP said in the original post that they got this rate ';through Harrahs';.

In addition to their own hotel, Harrah%26#39;s uses the Hilton and the Wyndham Riverfront to book their overnight guests. The rate is going to depend to some degree on your level of play with the casino.

I%26#39;m not much of a high roller - Harrah%26#39;s offered me a room at the Hilton for $70 this coming weekend but for a bit more I could find better places to stay for just a bit more money at this time of year.
