La Provence and Adolfo's?

Has anyone been to La Provence since John Besh bought out Chris Kerageorgiou? How about Adolfo%26#39;s? We%26#39;ll be in New Orleans and on the North Shore next week and, even though they%26#39;re very different types of restaurants, they%26#39;re both on our list of possibilities.

La Provence and Adolfo's?

Adolfos has good food. Its an out of the way location on the second floor of its Frenchman street location so it doesnt get the high traffic some places do but I think you should give it a try.

La Provence and Adolfo's?

I suppose I should have made myself clearer in my post. Adolfo%26#39;s is one of our favorites, but we haven%26#39;t eaten there in over a year. I was looking for a recent review, although I don%26#39;t know why I should even be concerned. We%26#39;ve never had a bad meal there.

I have been there recently, its still good. You will still enjoy it.

Northshore would be Dakota%26#39;s in Covington or Young%26#39;s Steakhouse in Slidell and I haven%26#39;t talked to anyone thats been to La Provance lately since Besh took over from the late chef Chris.

Adolfo%26#39;s hasn%26#39;t changed much. The kids who work there (owner%26#39;s ';slave labor'; :-) ) are older but that%26#39;s about it!

I like Adolfo%26#39;s a lot. I have not been to La Provence, but I will have to add it to my list!

Just a quick update. We decided to pass on Adolfo%26#39;s, in favor of Irene%26#39;s. Irene%26#39;s was slammed, so we walked over to Mona Lisa, on Royal, where we had an excellent meal (Pasta, eggplant, red sauce, etc.) an a very reasonable price.
