i am leaving for new orleans tomorrow...july 12 for the week end and had planned on eating at commander place , brennens and singing at pat obriens but have not heard one word of these places...are they not open or just not the place anymore? really need to hear from you...lonestar29

They%26#39;ve all been mentioned. Do a search. All are still popular, esp. Commander%26#39;s Palace and Pat O%26#39;Briens. Brennan%26#39;s is not my personal favorite but is still going strong.

oh no, they are all absolutely wonderful. Also, check out Antoine%26#39;s to eat.

LOVE commander%26#39;s!!! yes yes yes! I was also quite impressed with Brennan%26#39;s and can%26#39;t wait to go back. Pat O%26#39;s doesn%26#39;t have the greatest food ever but it%26#39;s affordable and not bad.

I forgot to mention that I would skip Antoine%26#39;s. Rude, rude, rude and I was not that impressed with the food. I%26#39;d go to Arnaud%26#39;s instead in a heartbeat (or Galatoire%26#39;s for the atmosphere and souffle potatoes!).
