don%26#39;t think I%26#39;ve heard much about thsplace. It would be close to our hotel on Bourbon. What do you think?
What about Remoulade's folr lunch?
Remoulade is always a lunch stop for me when I%26#39;m in New Orleans. I also like it for a quick, easy pre-party dinner.
In all fairness, Remoulade is my cardiac stop as the only thing I order there is the bbq shrimp. The recipe is classic, spicy, buttery bliss. Shrimp are head-on. Portion size is just right...enough that you will be satisfied, not so much that you will be peering around for a defibrillator. Accompanying bread perfectly captures any renegade butter.
The shrimp bisque is also note-worthy but I am rather dedicated to the bbq shrimp. Getting a table is always quick. Service is prompt. I know bbq shrimp is a NOLA staple, executed with brilliance in many places, but seldom with the ease and convenience of Remoulade. Check it out!
What about Remoulade's folr lunch?
Sorry, I failed to mention that my husband is an ardent fan of Remoulade%26#39;s red beans and rice with smoked sausage entree. He also noted how entertaining it is to watch a mani-pedi girly-girly cleanly eat bbq shrimp. Apparently, he is a spectator fan of my bbq shrimp :)
Lunch and a show!
We%26#39;re staying at the Inn on Bourbon. I thought Remoulade%26#39;s would be a close place to grab lunch before the drinks begin to flow! My hubby has not been to New Orleans before. He has worked in Cajun Country and loved the food. I want his first experience to be a close to perfect as it could possibly be.
Thank goodness I don%26#39;t get a bad mark for my poor typing skills!
Try the Cajun pizza, too. Each pizza is just enough for one person.
Neat! What is on the cajun pizza?
